Maundy Thursday

Thursday, April 18, 6:30pm

“Mandate” Thursday begins the three most important days of the year for a Christian: the triduum. We begin by commemorating Jesus’ final moments with his disciples: washing feet, the last supper, and the command he gave to them.

Good Friday

Friday, April 19, Noon & 6:30pm

On this solemn day we recall the suffering and death of Christ at the hands of sinners. Many Lutherans remember this day with quiet prayer, reflection, fasting, and many other practices.

Easter Vigil

Saturday, April 20, 8:00pm

Finally, he is risen! The vigil celebrates the end of the Lenten season with symbols of light, hope, and grace.

Easter Day

Sunday, April 21, 7:00am, 8:30am, 11:00am

Easter Sunday continues the celebration of the vigil; most members will attend either the vigil or the Sunday service.

Rejoice Worship Service Forum and Lunch

Sunday, March 3rd at Noon (immediately following service), please join us for lunch and open discussion of our 11:00am contemporary “Rejoice” service. We will discuss how we can better serve the congregation and improve our worship experience together. Questions include:

  • Is the liturgy important to you? What parts?
  • What is music’s role in worship?
  • How has worship evolved? How should it continue to do so?

All are welcome, but we especially request the presence of members that regularly attend the 11:00 o’clock service. If you are interested in sharing your feedback or knowing what’s going on, please join us!

As we enter into the Advent season, we eagerly await the eternal kingdom to come. 2018’s Lessons & Carols for Advent was a huge success. Thank you to everyone for making it possible! We had over 200 turn out, as well as a choir, chamber brass and string sections, piano, organ, percussion, bell choir, soloists, rejoice band, youth band, and liturgical dancers from Allegro School of Dance. If you missed it, here is Joy to the World:
