As Christians, we are not fully one holy and catholic (universal) church without a global perspective. Outreach efforts at Our Redeemer’s equip and empowers people to be the Body of Christ in the world by ministering to the needs of people in both the Helena community and worldwide. These connections strengthen God’s mission in the world. Our Redeemer’s Lutheran Church is active in both local and global mission efforts through:

God’s Love
533 N. Main
Our Redeemer’s serves meals at God’s Love every Monday evening at 4:15 p.m. God’s Love supports the homeless in our community and helps provide, food, shelter, and medical care.

World Hunger
The ELCA World Hunger Program is a connected, comprehensive, and compassionate program that helps individuals and communities break the cycle of hunger and poverty. Each gift given through Our Redeemer’s Lutheran Church to the ELCA World Hunger Appeal is a promise to our neighbors around the world and around the corner that they are not forgotten and that their hunger and thirst will not go unnoticed.

Interested in contributing? Download the attached World Hunger Challenge Form and return it with your gift to the Our Redeemer’s office or place in the church offering.
