Montana Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America
Our Redeemer’s Lutheran Church is a congregation of the Montana Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. The word “synod” means “walking together” – as we move along our spiritual journeys to see, tell, and reflect Christ’s love. The Synod is how we link up with other congregations, mission development sites, new and established ministries, our agencies and institutions, and the larger church in this country and around the world.

Houses for Health
Houses for Health is a Lutheran-affiliated ministry established to build homes for specially targeted individuals in Tanzania who have severe health problems that are further threatened by their seriously substandard living situation, who are extremely poor, and especially those whose death would leave behind orphans. About 75% of recipients have HIV as a base health issue, but homes have been built for those with orthopedic, mental health, and a wide range of health challenges. The houses are typical, very modest, two-room homes that provide a better quality of living through protection from the elements. Through better housing, people have the promise of better health.
